Seedlings
Grown in good soil.
Crops are rotated and the beds are checked as they come up, so the land keeps giving season after season.

Our Commitment
Every crate that leaves E-Malekutu Farming has one job: to get to the people who need it, in the same condition it left our hands.
It's a slower way to run a farm.
We think it's the only honest one.
Roots

Ephraim Motsamai Malekutu
Family heritage & inspiration
My great-grandfather, Ephraim Motsamai Malekutu, had a plot of his own.
Today, I'm building E Malekutu Farming in Tweelaagte to grow fresh food for local families, encourage self-reliance, and work toward more opportunities in our community.

The Founder
We grow vegetables and raise pigs and goats, selling vegetables and pigs to the public. Food security, self-reliance and supporting our community are why we farm. Creating employment is a goal for our future.

Our Standards

No brokers, no markups from strangers. What you buy traces back to us, not a supply chain.

Our land and our animals are cared for the way they'd need to be cared for next season, and the season after that.

We farm to serve the vendors and families around us — not the other way around.

Every product on this site is something we'd put on our own table.
The Harvest
Vegetables and livestock, as they come off the farm.

On the Farm
Seedlings to water, animals to feed, crates to pack. This is the work behind what reaches your stall.

Seedlings
Crops are rotated and the beds are checked as they come up, so the land keeps giving season after season.

Livestock
Clean pens, proper feed and regular health checks, every day.

Harvest
Our workers cut the greens by hand and pack them into crates in the row. The crates leave our field for the vendors’ stalls.
